David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren, moderated by Alfredo Paredes 

Considered one of the greatest influences on American style and design, Ralph Lauren embodies the American dream. Ralph Lauren Corporation Vice Chairman and Chief Branding & Innovation Officer David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren, founder and CEO of FEED, will discuss a legacy defined by timelessness, philanthropy and a deep respect of heritage and authenticity. Moderated by Alfredo Paredes, former executive VP and chief creative officer at Ralph Lauren, the conversation will dive into the legacy of the iconic brand and the importance of giving back. Immediately following the lecture will be a meet and greet with the Laurens and book signing by Alfredo Paredes.

Award-winning studios GACHOT and Meyer Davis are renowned for their multidisciplinary designs that blend narration and sophistication across a variety of projects in the residential and hospitality sectors. Christine and John Gachot of GACHOT and Tennessee’s own Will Meyer and Gray Davis of Meyer Davis will provide stunning imagery and a lively discussion about creating timeless, human-centered spaces that balance innovation and American elegance. Will Meyer and Gray Davis will sign “Made to Measure: Meyer Davis, Architecture and Interiors,” following the design panel.

Designer, entrepreneur, author, TV personality, industry spokesperson and educator who was recently named one of the best wedding designers by Vogue Magazine, Preston Bailey is the world of entertaining’s renaissance man. His showstopping floral designs and elaborate occasions have caught the eye of global celebrities and royalty including Oprah, Serena Williams, Lebron James and the royal family of Kuwait. Preston will share a visual presentation and discussion on event production, entertaining and how to take an evening from a great party to a theatrical celebration.

Designing Timeless American Gardens

Charles Stick in conversation with Ben Page

Saturday, January 10 |2 p.m.

Charles Stick’s passion for creating traditionally beautiful gardens earned him the lauded Arthur Ross Award for “Excellence in the Classic Tradition.” A native of Chicago, his time in Charlottesville, Va. pursing a master’s degree in landscape architecture at The University of Virginia School of Architecture in the heart and soul of Jefferson country deeply influenced his career and guiding ethos. Charles will share insights into what makes a garden a classic American garden along with rich visuals of his personal gardens and client projects. A book signing with Charles will immediately follow the lecture.
